Barça to Host Historic Game at Upgraded Camp Nou this Saturday
Barça revealed they will play at the renovated but unfinished Camp Nou on Saturday. They will welcome Athletic Bilbao in La Liga 30 months after they moved out so building work could begin.
“We’ve dreamed about the return. Now, it’s here. We’re back home. Back at Spotify Camp Nou.”
Not all seats will be available though over 45,000 attendees are permitted inside as per the current authorization. Once fully finished, it will accommodate over 104,000 attendees, up from the previous 99,000. The club said recent additions comprise a renovated tunnel for players plus modern locker rooms.
Recent Activities
The club conducted a public practice inside the stadium on 7 November. They mentioned approval is being pursued from Uefa for their upcoming Champions League fixture versus the German side on 9 December at Camp Nou. They have been hosting matches at Estadio Olímpic Lluís Companys.
